KUWAIT'S TREES

Trees are the most important part of nature .Trees take away the dust in the air, they give us fruits, and they remove CO2 from the air. Trees have a way of making the world beautiful; they grow flowers, they provide habitats for animals, and their leaves change colour every season and make beautiful scenery.

People cut down trees for many reasons: for paper, houses, tissue paper, furniture and much more. I don’t think people should cut down trees because it may affect our environment. There will be more dust storms, land will turn into desert, many animals will be extinct because their habitats disappeared, and the food supply for humans will decrease.

Humans need paper, houses, tissue paper and furniture, to name a few. But we should not keep cutting trees to provide those needs. So what should we do? We should recycle paper, construction timber, and furniture. Recycling paper means taking used paper to the recycling bin instead of throwing it in the garbage. People working in the recycling facility will pick it up and use it to make new paper. Recycling construction timber means reusing timber from old houses to make synthetic construction material or new houses. Recycling furniture means refurbishing  the old furniture.

Here are numbers you can call to get recycling bins:

Metal and recycling company (+965) 2457 7773
Bin Saleem Environment Recycling: (+965) 22418253

If you any information about how to get new recycling bins, and how to help Kuwait by recycling please leave it in the comments.

  3. Hi Wadha,
I will make sure I thank the trees every time I eat a date; that happens a lot these days.
Why don’t you choose a day where we can all gather and celebrate how much we have recycled; I will bring the dates and sheikha can take all the pictures!!
    Thanks for an amazing post.
